Mr. Adrian Cheng awarded insignia of Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters [fr]

On 9 December 2017, Consul general Eric Berti bestowed upon Mr. Adrian Cheng, Executive Vice-chairman and General Manager of New World Development Company Limited, the title of Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters during a ceremony at the Residence of France in Hong Kong.

A great admirer of French culture, Mr. Cheng is the founder of the K11 art malls and the K11 Art Foundation which has forged partnerships with the Palais de Tokyo and the Centre Pompidou museums in Paris.

Mr. Cheng has been a member of Le French May Arts Festival’s board of directors since 2014 and has shown immense commitment to the Association Culturelle France Hong Kong, which organizes Le French May under the patronage of the Consulate general of France in Hong Kong and Macau.

His nomination in the Order of Arts and Letters by the Republic of France is a recognition of his efforts to promote French culture in Asia and across the world.
