The application of the 1st Hong Kong International Conducting Competition is NOW open！Organised by Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the competition will be held from 10 to 14 January in 2018.
Serving as a platform for young conductors to establish a network in Asia, the Competition welcomes the participation from conductors of any nationality under the age of 35. Application is now open until 19 June 2017.
An international jury made up of conductors and people shaping the music business today, including the French director of Askonas Holt Gaetan Le Divelec, will share their views and experiences. The Competition is also complemented by a conducting workshop hosted by jury members in the week following the Competition.
