Reception held in honour of Mr. Michel Rocard, Former Prime Minister of France

A luncheon was held at the residence of France on Tuesday, July 13 in honour of Former Prime Minister of France, Mr. Michel Rocard.

Michel Rocard was visiting Hong Kong as part of his participation in the China-Europa forum, which was held from July 12 to July 14 at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

This forum is a process of dialogue between societies of a new type. It is an opportunity to face together our common challenges and enhance the dialogue within each society, which can thus enhance its own diversity.

Stakeholders of all sectors and all socio-professional groups seize the issues that concern them, and respond to our societies’ common problems. The experiences of each are the starting point for ongoing discussions taking place on the Internet, but also during biennial meetings held alternately in China and Europe.

On the occasion of this visit, Mr. Rocard has been invited to a luncheon in his honour at the residence of France by the Consul General of France, Mr. Marc Fonbaustier.
