Fundraising Tennis Challenge 2014 : French tennis professional Jérôme Lacorte to break a record

Sports For Hope Foundation welcomes the French Community at the Fundraising Tennis Challenge of this special year marking the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relationships between France and the People’s Republic of China. You are all welcome to participate in the meaningful 2 days carnival events on the 15 & 16 November 2014 at the HK Sports Institute in Sha Tin.

The 2 days event will be witnessing the breaking of the Guinness World Record of the most consecutive opponents, tennis singles (more than 30 matches) by French tennis professional Jérôme Lacorte who has kindly volunteered himself to represent the Foundation. There will also be world class star players (Peng Shuai and Paradorn Srichaphan), Davis cup players (Phillip King, David Sofaer, Thanakorn Srichapan and Zhang Ling) and junior elite players to conduct various tennis programmes, including private lessons, skills demonstrations, tennis clinics and mini-tennis sessions for children. A mixed doubles tournament will also be competing for their championships. All the tennis programmes will be conducted by the HK Tennis Association.

There will be more than 20 fun-filled game booths with attractive prizes like 2 free tickets to watch the Australian Open semis and finals (airfare and hotel are included), food and beverage stalls throughout the whole 2 days for the enjoyment of the families, spectators and local community to take part.

Mr Arnaud Barthelemy, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macao, will be a special VIP guest speaker at the opening ceremony of the event on 15 November at 1:30pm.
