  • Passing of Sir David Tang

    The Consulate general is saddened to hear of the passing of Sir David Tang on 29 August 2017. A great lover of French culture, Sir David Tang was honoured as Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 1995 in recognition of his significant contributions to the arts and literature in Hong Kong and across the world, and of his early support to Le French May Arts Festival. The Consulate general wishes to express its profound condolences to his beloved friends and family.

    Mr. Eric Berti, Consul general of France in Hong Kong and Macau, held a reception at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center Bauhinia Room on the occasion of French National Day on 14 July 2017. Mr. Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR, was the guest of honor at the reception which was attended by 600 people.
