Two exceptional receptions at the Residence of France for partners of Le French May

Le French May will celebrate its 20th edition in 2012. To thank its partners and to gather new friends, the Consul General of France in Hong and Macao - Arnaud Barthélémy – held at the Residence of France two special events: a dinner on Tuesday, November 22 and a reception on Wednesday, November 23.

The Residence of France

While these two parties gathered sponsors, officials, Hong Kong and French celebrities from the arts and the business circles, the Residence of France was turned into a real museum of art. With the valuable help from artists and French galleries in Hong Kong, guests had the wonderful surprise to find themselves surrounded by sculptures by Bernar Venet (de Sarthe Gallery) and Nathalie Decoster, paintings by Chu Teh-Chun and Xie Lei (FEAST Projects), and a magnificent painting by Pablo Picasso: Mother and Child (Edouard Malingue Gallery). The facade of the house was hard to be missed, magnified by the blue, white and red lights of the Hong Kong artist Chi Yung Wong.
