The President of the « école Polytechnique » Jacques BIOT, surrounded by his Alumnis [fr]
About thirty alumnis of the Polytechnique School have met Thursday, 1st June, around President Jacques BIOT in the residence of the Consul General in Hong Kong.
"It is with great pleasure and great interest that I receive you this evening at the Residence. I think, it is the first time that so many graduate engineers from a large French school are gathered in Hong Kong [...] In 20 years, the scientific and academic landscape has deeply evolved. Nowadays, Hong Kong has 8 public universities, which number nearly 100,000 students of all disciplines and levels, most of which are highly reputable in international rankings and are among the very first in Asia." Said the Consul General Eric Berti to welcome his guests.
The President of Polytechnique Jacques Biot emphasised the quality of exchanges that the school maintains with universities of excellence around the world, especially in China and Japan. His arrival coincides with the Times Higher Education Forum, where Jacques BIOT spoke on the training of future world elites.
