The Lycée Français International (French International School) [fr]
The school was founded by a parents’ association with the agreement of the French education agency AEFE (Agence pour l’enseignement du français à l’étranger. Agency for French Teaching Abroad).
Under the framework of this agreement, the AEFE supports the school by providing teaching and administrative staffs, and organizing for them continuous training. It also provides scholarships to families. The Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau is the honored president of Lycée Français International (LFI). The school is managed by an executive committee. The consulate has three active and legal members in the executive committee.
The school has 4 campuses: Blue Pool Road, Jardine’s Lookout, Sheung Wan and Chai Wan. A new campus will start to be in use in September 2014; the possibility of an extension for September 2017 is under discussion. You can know more about the construction of the new campus here.
The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau works closely with the Hong Kong Education Bureau to ensure good educational conditions to children of the French community.
