The French Pavilion at the Hong Kong Optical Fair 2013 in expansion: from 11 companies in 2012 to 17 companies this year
With over 700 exhibitors from 26 countries, the 21th edition of the Hong Kong Optical Fair has set a new record. Taking place each year in Wanchai’s Convention Center over the course of 3 days, the fair is dedicated to eyewear designers and manufacturers from around the globe.
The French Trade Commission – Ubifrance (the agency for international business development) worked closely with Lunettes de France to organize this year’s French Pavilion. 17 companies made the trip, a 42% increase over last year.
The main idea for the French eyewear SMEs was to meet local professionals in order to expand their distribution network in Hong Kong and throughout Asia. Meetings were directly arranged on the booths, combined with exposure to specialized press.
The French companies who attended the 2013 edition : BNL Eurolens, Vuillet Vega, Look Vision, Oxibis, OKO Eyewear, Zilli, Paget Group, Lunettes Grasset, Yves Cogan, Henry Jullien, Visioptis, Anne & Valentin, Vanessa & Medhi, Gold & Wood, Opal, Modern’Optique, and MI5 Lunettes.
