The 40th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves in Hong Kong.
The 40th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and Terahertz (IRMMW-THz) will be held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 23 to 28 August 2015.
This conference is co-organized by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the City University of Hong Kong, the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics and by the Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
The International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz), created in 1974, is the oldest and largest continuous forum devoted to the science and technology of long-wavelength radiation.
After a successful edition in Tucson (Arizona, USA) in 2014, the conference will be held this year in Hong Kong. Specialists from around the world will gather in August 2015 at the Chinese University.
Some French universities will take part to this event, such as the University of Savoie, represented by the Professor Jean-Louis Coutaz and the Laboratoire National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses of Toulouse, represented by the Professor Jean Leotin, who will give a talk.
Several French specialists will also give a talk during these five days, such as Dr Emilien Peytavit, Research Fellow at the CNRS, Dr Dominique Coquillat-Brouillet, Director of Research at the CNRS of the University of Montpellier and Dr Jean-François Lampin, Research Fellow at the CNRS.
Onsite Registration is now closed but registration on Sunday, 23 August will be available at the following locations:
• Yasumoto International Academic Park (YIA Building) from 2:00 - 5:30 PM
• Hyatt Regency Hotel, Shatin from 6:30 - 9:00 PM
After these times, registration will be available at the conference venue (YIA Building).
