This symposium is organised by Center for Health Promotion and Health Education of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and supported by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau. Dedicated to promotion of health for schools, it will take place from November 9 to 12 in Hong Kong.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion, as well as the 35th Anniversary of Faculty of Medicine and 15th Anniversary of JC School of Public Health and Primary Care, experts from France, Switzerland, Canada, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Civil Societies will participate in the Symposium “Health and Education Sectors Together for Children’s Health Today and Tomorrow: AN INTERNATIONAL DIALOGUE” to address this core issue and bring active steps to the global community.
Not only will there be participation of specialists and experts from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, but there will also be participation of experts from French-speaking countries such as France, Switzerland and Canada. They will be discussing current medical practices and also all other aspects related to the promotion of public health in their respective countries. A strengthen network of medical professionals worldwide is then to be expected.
“International Stakeholders’ meeting and Study Tour on advancing Health Promoting Schools” from 9 to 11 November 2016 is a closed session by invitation only. “Symposium on Health and Education Sectors Together for Children’s Health Today and Tomorrow: An International Dialogue” on 12 November 2016 is admission free and open to all.
