- Enrollment into the final year of the French colleges
Studies in universities
Before the start of university education, students are required to obtain B2 level of the DELF examination at the beginning of the school year. To study at university level, high school students are required to obtain B2 level of the DELF examination at the end of the first term of the year proceeding universities.
Students are strongly recommended to enroll in the DELF examination through their teachers. The Alliance Francaise is mandated by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau to organize the sessions.
For application to study in a French University, high school students should contact the representative of Campus France at the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau before 30th January.
Enrollment into the final year of the French colleges
High school students may enroll in the final year of a French college. The language requirement is B1 level. Students can spend a year in the French school to adapt to the French education system and enhance their French language ability. They will be in the best environment to find a university or ‘’grande école’ to pursuit their further studies in France.
Such arrangement is especially recommended for students who would like to be integrated in one of the French prestigious ‘’grande écoles’’ (business and engineering schools for top level managers). Many of the schools preparing students for these “grandes écoels’’ can provide boarding schools.
Students should contact the attaché of educational and linguistic affairs through their school. The attaché can come to their schools for a talk on the educational system in France.
