Press Conference Goût de France / Good France in Hong Kong on 14 march [fr]

The press conference Goût de France / Good France was held on 14 March at Residence of France. Mr. Eric Berti, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, presented to the press and media the 22 restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau participating in the 2016 edition of Goût de France / Good France on 21 March.

On the initiative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse, more than 1300 restaurants in 150 countries will celebrate the French gastronomy with the emphasis with local food. Among these restaurants, 22 of them from Hong Kong and Macau were presented during the press conference:

5 renowned chefs (Raphael Kimino from Ritz-Carlton à Macao, Vincent Leroux from the delegation of Disciples Escoffier in Hong Kong, Phillipe L’Hostis from La Mansio, Grégoire Michaud from Bread Elements and Pastry Elements and Jean-Marc Gaucher from The Mira Hong Kong), who will prepared the dinner which the Consul General will attend at Résidence de France on 21 march, presented the menu of the dinner in front of the journalists.

After the press confernece, a lunch buffet was offered to the journalists who could taste the French specialities prepared by restaurant partners of Good France.The press was also invited to discover tableware of Raynaud, glasses and vases of Baccarat, decorative objects in silver of Ercuis, tablecloth and serviette of Le Jacquard Français, covers of Christofle. The founder of Ouhlala Flowers, Carole Delavelle, had brought floral not to the event. The event was also sponsored by Pernod Ricard providing the champagne Mumm, Burgundy Wine Company offering wine from Bourgogne, Valrhona offering chocolates and Tefal who celebrates its 60th anniversary.
