Photos calling for the French presence in Hong Kong

A book about the History of the French presence in Hong Kong is currently drafted. Before its publication, the authors would like to call the roll of the French community to pad the number of pictures in the contemporary part.

If you have some snapshots related to memorable moments of the French community (culture, sport, various events…) or pictures illustrating the setting up of French companies in Hong Kong from the 1950’s to the 1990’s, it would be great!

Authors are particularly looking for pictures of the following important people and events:

- Henri de Pontbriand, manager of the company « Chargeurs réunis » in the 1960-1970’s.
- Vincent-Paul Toccoli, priest of the community in the 1990’s
- Kleber-Emile Texier, business man during the 1960-1980’s
- Carlos and Yolande Arnulphy, french living in Hong Kong from the 1930’s to the 1980 ‘s
- Iny Houël, manager of the Alliance française in the 1960’s
- Michel Masson and/or Yves Nallet, writer of the China News Analysis in the 1990’s.
- Every event related to the French May (conférences, etc.)
- Every event related to the French school (especially before 1984)
- Every sportive associative in the 1980-1990’s (the football team "Les gaulois", ou other)
- Window of french restaurants from the 1950’s to the 1990’s
- More ancient, Francis Vetch, Louis Reynaud or Rolande Sarrault, in the 1930-40’s
