"Night Activities" at the Hong Kong Book Fair with three French artists [fr]

Interactive activities and creative workshops will be held during the Hong Kong Book Fair 2015. Held by three French artists living in Hong Kong, Isabelle Demenge, Emilie Saint Pé and Romain Jacquet Lagrèze, these will allow readers to interact and benefit from their expertise and professional experience in a fun and dynamic way.

Description: Take a stroll through Paris! Isabelle Demenge will be showcasing her travel scrapbook “Leap & Hop” and holding a small workshop for young audiences. Indeed, her scrapbook contains an informative introduction to the history, geography, architecture, currency and food of Paris, along with related interactive exercises. The puzzles, crosswords and other pedagogical games bring to life the City of Lights as it takes the reader on a journey to visit Paris’ most iconic sites and neighborhoods. This educational travel book aims to further the young reader’s observation capacities and creativity.

Description: Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze gained public attention two years ago thanks to his first photographic series Vertical Horizon which shows the urban scenery of Hong Kong through low angle shots. In his latest series, Wild Concrete, he focuses on nature growing wildly in the most incongruous places of our dense urban environment. Romain will explore the connection between these two opposing but unifying visions of Hong Kong. His talk will be illustrated by a projection of his photographs, and will be followed by twenty minutes of Q&A.

Description: Emilie Saint-Pé will be holding a 45-minute workshop for children to introduce the French language in a fun and simple way. She will teach the children to introduce themselves, the French alphabet and to count in French. Emilie Saint-Pé shows once again her passion for linguistics and the French language and explores fun and exciting ways to share her passion and develop cross cultural communication through different and lively mediums.
