Among streets of Central, visiting the Hong Kong tram factory, losing himself on the island of Lamma, in this film Nicolas Vial shares his feelings about Hong Kong and speaks about his own commitment for the environment, which it spreads through his whole work.
This film (above) will be screened for the first time in June 24, 2015, at the French International School, on the site of the primary school in Hung Hom. That day will be held the award ceremony of the drawing competition, launched at meetings held between Nicolas Vial and students of the school. On the topic of "Pollution of the ocean in Hong Kong," children of CM1 and CM2 have made drawings inspired by their previous conversation with the illustrator. The 3 winners, selected by Nicolas Vial, itself, will be offered the book "Une lecture du monde"- signed by Nicolas Vial - and Ocean Park admission tickets.
Also this autumn - the Scientific Department of the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau will organize - in cooperation with Virginie Morin Brucker - the agent of Nicolas Vial and the Friends of the Art Museum of the Chinese University of Hong Kong - other events around the exhibition by Nicolas Vial and Hong Kong artists and this film.
