Implementation of the Paris Agreement on climate change, fight against ivory trade and France-Hong Kong cooperation in waste management were all on the agenda of the meeting between Nicolas Hulot, French Minister for Ecological and Inclusive Transition, and Wong Kam Sing, Secretary for the Environment of the HKSAR, on 16 October 2017.

Talking to the South China Morning Post afterwards, Nicolas Hulot also encouraged “China to be even firmer and bolder on climate change together with the EU”.
