Bravo to the team of Le French May for making the 2020 edition possible in these difficult times.

In 2020, the Festival presents a condensed but exciting array of programmes around the theme of “Timeless Classics”, from the French Forest to Mongolia, and from photography to oil paintings. Once again as before, this year’s Le French May mixes the genres and revisits the classics. The programming is the result of an exemplary cooperation and shows that France and Hong Kong share the same values and work hand-in-hand on promoting the benefits of art during this unprecedented period.

Recent times have been particularly difficult for all. Despite these difficulties, we all agree on one key point: we need more appreciation for culture; culture is always part of the solution! This French May edition may be short but its quality is far from falling short, if not the opposite. We are very proud to present these glimpses of French culture once more in Hong Kong as we do every year.

Le French May Arts Festival remains a key event in the region, contributing every year to the dynamism and attractiveness of Hong Kong as an international city.
