XCHANGE: Social Gastronomy aims to encourage changes in everyday lives and innovative practices with the aid of design. Coupling design and cooking, they strive to tackle food waste problem from its source creatively by fully utilising leftover ingredients to make delicious dishes and inspire social reflections.
To encourage sharing and the better use of resources in order to construct a sustainable ecology in the community, participants are welcome to bring along from their kitchens fresh ingredients, canned and packaged food (before the expiry date) and even secret recipes. The collected ingredients will be served at the event.
