As part of the French May Festival, the French Federation of Footwear (FFF) beautifully highlighted the work of French shoe craftsmen, manufacturers and designers, emphasizing both the historical and contemporary expertise through the exhibition "500 years of passion for shoes", as well as the creativity and new trends of 8 French shoe brands sold in the pop-up store set up for the occasion.
Installed within the Pacific Place shopping mall until the end of the month, this duo ‘exhibit/pop-up store’ is very successful with visitors and insiders. It attests indeed the presence of opportunities on the Hong Kong market for French shoe brands.
Supported by the French agency for international business development "Business France”, 6 members of the FFF, including 3 that are representing exhibited brands, were able to benefit from local support in their export project on the Hong Kong market. The organization of a seminar about the market potential, with the intervention of local experts and major key players in the shoe sector, allowed French companies to better understand the characteristics of the Hong Kong market of footwear, adapt their offer and initiate promising business streams with Hong Kong companies.
