Hong Kong University and Sciences Po graduate their first students from the Double Degree Program [fr]
The Hong Kong University (HKU) and Sciences Po graduate for the first time, their students from the Dual Degree Bachelor program "HKU-Sciences Po Dual Degree"
The Hong Kong University and Sciences Po offer a dual degree program, where admission decisions will be jointly made by both institutions. Created in 2013, this 4-year program allows worldwide students to have a specific academic background and to be graduated from both prestigious universities. At the end of their program of study, candidates will earn one Bachelor’s degree from Sciences Po’s pluridisciplinary College (Bachelor of Arts in History, Law, Economics, Sociology and International relations), as well as one of three possible degrees from The University of Hong Kong: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Sciences or Bachelor of Business Administration.
For this specific program, students spend their first two years in France on one of Sciences Po’s campuses (Le Havre, Reims or Menton) and then their third and fourth year at HKU in Hong Kong. Worldwide applicants are jointly admitted by the two institutions for this highly selective program, which take only about 10 students per year.
The objective of this dual degree is for students to gain an in-depth understanding of global issues from Asian and European perspectives and to build professional networks in two different parts of the world.
This is the graduation of the first cohort of their double Bachelor’s degree program.
