Since the beginning of the 20th century, at the early origin of Aviation, Dassault-Aviation was already well known in the Aeronautics community by the design and manufacturing of well-advanced aircraft. From the design of the « Eclair » propeller in 1916 up to the entry into service of the Falcon 7X in 2007, more than one hundred prototypes have been designed by Dassault-Aviation with the introduction of high-end technologies in all its aircraft. This year Dassault-Aviation is celebrating its 100th Anniversary.
Dassault-Aviation has been used to design both military aircraft and business jets, which guarantees well-balanced activities within the Group. Dassault-Aviation is producing presently the RAFALE aircraft and a large range of wide body corporate aircraft; know to be the best designed, best-built and best flying business jets in the world. The current Falcon family is consisting of Falcon 2000s and 2000 LXS, the Falcon 900 LX, the Falcon5X, the Falcon 7X and the Falcon 8X.
Dassault-Aviation is also preparing the future through its large investment in research activities and through its participation to innovative technical R&D programs achieved in collaboration with French Aeronautical companies. Dassault-Aviation has been used to tackle cutting edge technologies all along theses years positioning itself at the top rank of the worldwide OEM. Its fame and success in developing high performance fighters and business jets aircraft rely mostly on the high skill staff that Dassault-Aviation has enrolled through all these years and which constitutes the wealth of the company.
Thanks to its large experience in addressing the export market and to the quality / performance / fame of tis aircraft, Dassault-Aviation activities in Asia are thriving since the early investment made by Dassault-Aviation in the region and more than 80 Falcon aircraft are presently operated in Asian sky aside some military aircraft.
