Pierre Caessa, Programme Manager at Google Arts & Culture Lab, will speak for the Cultural Leadership Summit at The Hong Kong Jockey Club Amphitheatre of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts on 26 September, from 4pm to 6pm.
The 2-day Cultural Leadership Summit is organised by the Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association from 26 - 27 September (10am - 6pm). It is an important annual cultural event with a roster of renowned international and local speakers reviewing the current audience landscape in Hong Kong with its challenges and opportunities. The theme of this year’s 8th edition is “Building Our Future Audience”.
The arts generate a range of benefits for people and society, from bringing individuals pleasure and captivation to helping communities build stronger social bonds. As audience building is not an easy matter for arts organizations, the insights from the speakers would be of invaluable importance for the cultural arena.
One of the Summit French guest speakers, Pierre Caessa, is the Programme Manager at Google Arts & Culture Lab since it opened in 2013. The Lab, located in Paris, is a place where tech and creative communities come together to share ideas and discover new ways to experience art and culture.
Pierre graduated with a degree in Politics from Sciences Po Lille, and completed a Master of Science in Media, Art & Creation at HEC Paris. He previously worked at the Cité de la Musique and Universal Music France.
