Consul General Eric Berti and Deputy Consul General Paule Ignatio attended a VIP Preview and opening of Fine Art Asia 2017 on 29 September.
The 12th edition of Fine Art Asia, Asia’s leading international fine art fair, was staged at the peak of the October art season in Hong Kong, renowned as Asia’s foremost fair dedicated to art and antiques. In this vibrant atmosphere, the fair is a focal point for an audience of leading dealers, collectors, curators, connoisseurs and art lovers from throughout Asia and all over the world.
Fine Art Asia is the only fair in Asia to showcase collectible antiques and fine art from both East and West, including Asian and Western antiques; jewellery, antique silver and timepieces; Impressionist, modern and contemporary art and design; and photography.
The Consul General Eric Berti, in the company of Deputy Consul General Paule Ignatio, Consul (Culture, Education & Science) Benoît Etienne and Cultural Attaché Zoé Simard, visited 9 participating French art galleries and supported artworks created by French artists. These galleries specialised in art pieces such as decorative arts, designed jewellery, contemporary photography, paintings, sculptures and even Chinese antiques.
