French Teacher training - "New technologies, new teaching practices" from 21 to 22 June in Hong Kong [fr] [中文]

On 21st and 22nd June 2017, the second edition of the training for French teachers will take place at La Salle College in Hong Kong. French teachers from Hong Kong and Macau will gather together for a two-day training in new technologies and digital and innovation for teaching French language.

Organized by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, the Association of Teachers of French in Hong Kong and Macau (AFLE) and the Alliance Française of Hong Kong, and with the support of the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Lidilem Laboratory of Université Grenoble Alpes in France and La Salle College in Hong Kong, the aim of this training course is to further develop teachers’ teaching and pedagogical skills, as well as to further develop learning strategies in this digital age.

The training will begin with an opening lecture entitled "What pedagogical approach should be adopted in the digital era? ", which is then followed by six workshops led by local and international experts in linguistics, digital and pedagogy approaches. The expected outcome is that participants’ competence would be developed while implementing these new technologies at the workshops. In addition, this 2-day workshop is also serving as an excellent platform where professional exchanges can be made possible. Participants are expected to gain benefits regarding the use of multimedia tools and strategies of learning French as a foreign language in classrooms.
