Distinguished lecture in Hong Kong by Anne Cheng, Professor at the Collège de France [fr]

This Wednesday 16 October 2013 at 4:30 pm at City University of Hong Kong, Professor at the Collège de France Anne Cheng, will give a Distinguished Lecture in English: "From Confucian Orthodoxy to Chinese Modernity". The Consul-General of France, Mr Barthelemy, will give an introductory speech at this occasion.

Professor Anne Cheng has recently been elected to the Collège de France, at the Chair in Intellectual History of China, as she is an expert in that field, and especially in Confucianism. You can find her full official biography on the Collège de France’s website.

This lecture is part of the France-Hong Kong Distinguished Lecture Series organized since 2005 at CityU, under the auspices of the Consulate general of France in Hong Kong as well as the French Academy of Sciences, the College de France and the Legion d’Honneur Club - Hong Kong Chapter.
