Christie’s Art Forum - Monet’s Paradise: Giverny [fr]
Christie’s, an international auction house, is hosting Christie’s Art Forum on 25 November on "Monet’s Paradise: Giverny" at HKCEC, in the presence of Ms Sylvie Patin, Senior Honorary Curator of Musée d’Orsay, Paris.
Followed by a welcome remark by Mr Eric Berti, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, Sylvie Patin, Senior Honorary Curator of Musée d’Orsay, Paris and Adrien Meyer Christie’s Co-Chairman, Impressionist & Modern Art, will explore Giverny and its surroundings: Claude Monet’s beautiful home he built, where he spent over half of his life creating his greatest achievements. A place which attracts over half a million visitors each year from all over the world, as well as painters, charmed by the unique light of the Seine Valley.

The talk will touch upon the collection, titled Dear Monsieur Monet, to be sold in Hong Kong on November 26.
Conversation will be conducted in English, and translated simultaneously into Putonghua.
