On May 18 (Thursday), ceremony for the graduating class of 2017 of Elsa High School took place at its campus. The entire school community was thrilled to celebrate this day with the 5th cohort of students of this institution who obtained their graduation diploma on this special day.
The French language, which is the fifth most spoken language in the world with 274 million speakers, is part of the modern languages offered at Elsa High School. The school itself and the Culture, Education & Science Department of the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau have been maintaining strong ties with one another. Not only is the French department of the school associated with the educational and cultural programme of the annual renowned Le French May festival every year in town, it also is an significant partner with the Francophonie festival and the training programme for French teachers.
