Business France – the national agency supporting the international development of the French economy, organizes French Pavilion sponsored by Air France and Accor at the Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Asia 2019 in Hong Kong from 12 to 15 November. 93 French companies will exhibit their products and know-how at the unmissable Asian cosmetics fair. Meanwhile, Business France is organizing the 5th edition of French Cosmetics Awards with 13 shortlisted candidates.
A genuine powerhouse of the French economy, cosmetics is one of the flagship sectors that contributes to France’s influence around the world. In 2017, the cosmetics sector achieved sales of €10 billion, thus positioning France as the European market leader. A figure of excellence and prestige thanks to world renowned brands such as L’Oréal, France is known for its ability to innovate and adapt to the new expectations of consumers, who are increasingly looking for products that do not harm either the body or the environment. France’s dominant position in this market is therefore a source of new opportunities for both its domestic and foreign markets.
Cosmoprof/Cosmopack Asia - a priority gateway to the entire Asian market for the French cosmetics industry
For professional visitors, who are keen consumers of French brands, which are symbols of elegance, prestige and quality, and of their expertise in the world of cosmetics, the France pavilion is an essential part of their visit. The increasing participation of French businesses at Cosmoprof Asia attests to the willingness of these businesses to export their know-how and expertise to an Asian market where they are in high demand. Proof of this is that 41 of the 93 exhibitors at the pavilion this year are new participants, covering the entire range of cosmetics - organic, natural and vegan products, aromatic compositions, hair care, dermatology for children, floral cosmetics, exclusive perfume creations, innovative skin care cosmetics, cosmetics packaging, cosmetic formulation laboratories, etc.
As a result of the diversity of their offer, French businesses in the sector can meet the demands of consumers who are receptive to new trends and increasingly concerned about their purchases in the mid- and high-end segments.
With an overall surface area of 1,100 m2, Business France (1-EF6K & 6-H17A) is organizing French Pavilion on both exhibition sites: from 12 to 14 November at Cosmopack. AsiaWorld Expo (12 exhibitors); and from 13 to 15 November at Cosmoprof, Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre - Hall 1E (77 exhibitors), Hall 3E (6 exhibitors), “French Buzz” (9 exhibitors) dedicated to showcase French innovative and creative products.
The French Pavilion is organized in close collaboration with professional partners : Cosmed, Cosmetic Valley, FEBEA, and regional partners: Bretagne Commerce International, Dev’up, CCI d’Ajaccio et de la Corse du Sud, Région Hauts de France, CCI Internationale Nouvelle Aquitaine.
