Organized by the Association of Teachers of French in Hong Kong and Macau (AFLE) with the support of Consulate general of France in Hong Kong and Macau, the award ceremony for AFLE competitions was held on March 20 (Tuesday) at French bookstore Parenthèses in Central with the presence of Consul general of France in Hong Kong and Macau Mr Eric Berti.
These competitions are designed for French-learning students in Hong Kong. The conception is to allow French learning to take place in a fun and creative way and allow students to develop the communication skills in French.
The President of the association AFLE Ms. Clarisse Gruère first congratulated the students, and honored the presence of parents, teachers and honored guests. Then she praised the efforts and determination of the students for their learning of French. She also expressed gratitude for the ardent support of the Consulate for the actions of the association in Hong Kong and Macao and the significant support of the bookstore Parenthèses.
