A successful beginning: Chinese International New Energy Vehicle Show [fr]

The first exhibition in Hong Kong dedicated to eco-mobility,Chinese International New Energy Vehicle Show was held at the exhibition center AsiaWorld- Expo from April 2 to 4.

The event, labeled as a program in the 50th anniversary of Sino-French Diplomatic Relations, was inaugurated Wednesday April 2, in the presence of Ms. Christine Lo , Under Secretary for the Environment in Hong Kong and Ms. Lilac Bernheim, Deputy Consul General of France. In her opening speech, Ms. Lilac Bernheim recalled the recent joint statement by French and Chinese presidents which highlighted the sustainable urban development as a key area of bilateral cooperation, and called for action to strengthen the cooperation between France and China in the field of transports, especially the low-emission vehicles.

Guests present at the inauguration also include, Professor Chan – an authority in the sector; Mr. Duan Ruichun – the Vice Minister , SASAC & Chairman; Mr. Louis Negro , the Senator- Mayor of Cagnes sur Mer, 1st Vice- President of GART , President of Stiff, co- president of TDIE ; and Mr. Barissat , president of EuropEvents Group.

The CINEV Show, organized by Europ Expo, aims to become a platform for meetings between European and Asian players in the field of new mobility and "smart city", i.e. the technologies (electric, hybrid, hydrogen, etc.), all types of mobility ( private vehicles , public transport , logistics, etc. ), and the whole value chain (manufacturers, subcontractors , equipment & infrastructure, etc.).

To name a few, those French enterprises present at the exhibition, IES, Air Liquide, AMC Promotions - Paris Motor Show, AXA Assistance, Club des Véhicules Ecologiques, Renault, Technosat, Transdev, Tristone Flowtech Group, WLPG Association, Journal de l’Automobile, Véhicule Ecologique Journal …

The next edition of NEV takes place in November 2015.
