8/11 : Screening "Apocalypse World War I" at Alliance Française de Hong Kong [fr]
To mark the centenary of the World War I, Alliance Française de Hong Kong presents the World War I Apocalypse series, written and directed by the filmmakers and historians, Daniel Costelle and Isabelle Clarke.
After the success of the two previous series Apocalypse, World War II (2009) and Apocalypse Hitler (2011), the authors reflect on the World War I, which happened 100 years ago.
The series includes five 52-minute episodes, Fury , Fear , Hell , Rage and Deliverance . The series discovers the reason which prompted the cruel carnage by exploring the beginning and sequent of World War I.
The first screening will be held on Saturday, November 8 at 5 pm in AFHK library, 1/F, Jordan Centre.
