2015 Baccalaureat Award Ceremony at the French International School of Hong Kong [fr]
After a studious and busy year, the Senior students of the French International School of Hong Kong received the results of their baccalaureate exam 2015.
And we must congratulate them! The results are outstanding. Not only did all the students obtain their diploma, 75% were awarded a Distinction or High Distinction. Students and teachers should be extremely proud.
That night, students, families, teachers and the school’s executive gathered to celebrate these brilliant results during the Baccalaureate Award Ceremony. This allowed the headmaster and Madame Anne Denis-Blanchardon to personally congratulate students for their effort and hard-work. They both highlighted the extent to which this year’s results were exceptional, visibly succumbed by delight and pride.
Both class representatives and an alumni student delivered a speech sharing with their peers the emotion, laughs and adventures of their Senior year - a particularly memorable year for all students. The laureates each received a baccalaureate medallion, on which is engraved their name and the year of the exam.
The next day, the forty-one students that had received a High Distinction, representing an impressive 46% of the year’s cohort, were invited to celebrate their academic achievement at the General Consul’s residence. Again, the school’s academic success was rewarded and celebrated. Not only has the LFIS never obtained so many High Distinctions, but these were obtained with particularly outstanding marks. The night, full of emotion and joy, allowed parents, teachers and members of the Consulate to congratulate our laureates once again, and witness the launch of long prosperous careers.
